I am a retired general practitioner, who also writes fiction. I am based just north of Ripon in North Yorkshire but am happy to travel and also, if I can, speak at short notice. I've been on the Yorkshire Speakers' Circuit for nearly ten years, currently giving maybe 20-25 talks a year. I don't charge a fee as such as I give any money I receive to the charity Breast Cancer UK.

1) Doctor to Author - stories of my time at medical school, working in hospital as a surgeon and then becoming a GP and writing my first novel, along with the difficulties of getting it published.
